Ali was a great guy. He was really helpful. Room was perfect and clean. The TV is my room did not work - kept coming up as no network but it didn’t matter much to me. Perfect location and only a few mins away from the railway station. Would highly recommend x

We had a really lovely stay at the hotel, it was clean, comfortable and had a great atmosphere that made it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. Mary was fantastic and truly made our experience even better. She was warm, friendly, and always happy to help, making everything feel easy and welcoming. Her positive attitude really stood out, and she’s definitely a great asset to the hotel!

This hotel is very close to the shopping centre which makes everything easier especially in terms of public transport and food. The rooms are a decent size and immaculate but the heating was stuck at a low temperature. Mary at reception checked it for me and lent me a portable heater which did the job. She was incredibly helpful and very friendly. I knew that you have to pay for coffee downstairs which is fair enough but you also have to pay for hot water which is very stingy of them. Overall a lot of pros but just some points to be aware of.

We had such a lovely experience thanks to Jasmia. From the moment we arrived, her customer service was exceptional — warm, professional, and genuinely accommodating. She went out of her way to help us with an early check-in, which made such a difference to our trip and allowed us to settle in stress-free. She was responsive, kind, and made us feel completely looked after. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in making guests feel welcome, and Jasmia absolutely does. Thank you for making the start of our stay so smooth and enjoyable — we really appreciated it!

Had a lovely stay. Met with a very charming guy called Ali. He had welcomed us with a smile. Made the check in process quick.. amazing service. Got the first class service. What a great guy.

Firstly, they do have rooms with windows for a small difference in price. But there are also windowless ones - which I tried for fun, and in the hope of a better sleep (from experience). Check-in was a person and nearly seamless, apart from not finding my reservation. I’m a fan of the wooden room keys and how seriously they took not using single-use plastic. The room is tight but clean and you can’t really complain for around £30. The bathroom is nice, including shampoo & conditioner though the bin seems like an afterthought that doesn’t fit. It was clean and clearly optimised for cleaning. The LED lights take a little getting used to, strips down the side of the bed. The TV was high up and seemed to not work but pressing Home got you out of the easy-themed menu and then it worked like normal. Sleep was good however the gap under the door let in a lot of light and normal noise … could do with a brush or something. There’s even a kind of room service, a food and coffee machine in reception. The only thing missing was a surface for putting your bag on - like a fold down desk. I’d stay again though as it’s relatively central, easy to walk and get food, etc. Not sure if I’d bother with a window in winter when it’s dark as you go in and come out.
